Izabela Bodus-Olkowska

Izabela Bodus-Olkowska is Vice-Rector for Education and Development at the Maritime University of Szczecin, Poland. As vice-rector, she is responsible for the quality of education, the implementation of the university’s sustainable development policy, technology transfer, the management of international R&D projects, and international cooperation. Her academic and research activities focus mainly on hydrography, Geographic Information Systems, and marine geophysics. She has extensive experience participating in and coordinating both national and international research and educational projects related to maritime safety, cybersecurity and health promotion at sea, hydrographic surveying, and marine spatial data analysis. She also has professional maritime experience connected with merchant and offshore vessels.
